I Have A Honda Shadow VLX 600 And Sometimes When I Go To Start My Bike I Get A Sound Like Electricity Arching Down By My Battery And Fuses And All My Lights Go Out. None Of The Fuses Are Blown But It Just Won't Do Anything After That. What Can I Do?

It's likely that you are not getting enough power from the battery to hold the starter solenoid in to start it. Check the voltage on the battery while you're trying to start it. If it's 12.6 (more or less) then you have a bad connection somewhere. If the voltage goes down (way down), then you have no charge in the battery. Charge it, check that the alternator is charging (13 - 14 volts) while the engine is running with a few rpm's. If not, replace the battery.

Check your battery connections and make sure that they are tight. It may be that you have either a loose connection, or a loose terminal. Try tightening the screws to the posts first and see if that makes the problem go away.
