Have a 600 shadow wont start with the switch no headlight but have all other lights and horn when running?

Do headlights automatically come on and stay on when car is started?  If so then you have a direct electrical short in switch to headlight circuit somewhere and probably a frayed wire somewhere is most liekly culprit. Discoonect headlights and see if car starts and this will tell you for sure
