I Have A 98 Chevy Van That Cranks But Won't Start. Does Anyone Know What The Reason Might Be?

It has to have fuel, spark and compression.
You will need to figure out which one it doesn't have, before you can fix it.

A 2004 chevy van with a4.3 liter cranks and tries to start but wont start.

I had the same exact problem with a 97 chevy truck,,,replace your distributer cap,it's either cross firing. Or it could have jumped timing,find the timing marks and re-aline them.

If it had coil packs it best to change them out it may not be getting spark, and also check your plugs and wire you plugs could be fouled out and wires might be in bad conditon as well.
