I'm trying to do it my self but I have more screws and it seem harder and hard to find all the screws on this 1996 eldorado
Well its not as hard ass you think.first thing before you start, take off the battery completely just to be on the safe side, some people only say take off only the positive cable on the battery. , the alternator must come out from the bottom of there car . So it has to be jacked up .you have to remove the bottom screws on the bottom where the alternator is so it can drop out the bottom once all the screws are removed.make sure you remove the pulley belt by placing a screw driver and goin in the opposite direction of the pulley. The radiator fan must remove as well .there are 4 screws that has to come off . Two are easy and two are kind of hard. You need a 15mm wrench to remove those screws..when replacing the new alternator the 2 back screws has to go in first in order to do the job successfully.
