Hi. Once you get the truck jacked up and secure with blocks for safety and the wheel off you need a large size allen head wrench to remove the brake caliper unit off of the brake rotor.. USUALLY the entire brake caliper unit comes off after removing ( 2 ) large allen head bolts that face towards the inner fender wall that are on the brake caliper .. Once you remove these two bolts the caliper unit shoulder slide up off the brake rotor and will give you access to the brake pads.. Before installing the new pads push the calipers shoe piston back into the unit by using a large C clamp with the base of the C clamp around the back of the caliper and begin to screw the clamp into the piston inside the caliper.. This must be done as your new brake pads have more material on them and need the added room.. Hope this helps you out.. Good luck.
