Time to change the front brake pads on your Vauxhall (also known as Opel) Zafira?
It's not as hard as it may seem, although you'll need a jack, a wrench, and a bit of perseverance!
Changing the brake pads on a Zafira
The first step is to loosen the nuts on each of the front wheels. You'll then need to jack the front half of the car up (ensuring the emergency brake is down firmly).
Pop the front wheels off - and you should be able to see both the left and right side brake assembly.
Next, you'll need to take the calliper off the rotor - this'll involve removing the bolts holding both the calliper and the brakes in place. Place the calliper's piston to a fully open position, and simply attach the new brakes.
Don't forget to make sure the back of the brake pads are well greased before you start tightening the bolts back into place.
