Remove power steering cap there should be a small dipstick that is part of the cap. It also takes special vw fluid don't put just regular power steering fluid good luck

Sounds like you are correct. You are low on power steering fluid. Your psp should be to the right of your engine block, in the center position. The cap is silver dollar size, and should be black. When you unscrew it, there is a dipstick attached to the cap. This is where you service your ps fluid.
