My 2005 Chevrolet Malibu Classic Only Starts When It's Cool Outside. When It Is 75 Degrees Or Warmer It Will Not Start. Is This A Fuel Problem?

There is a chance that it is a fuel related issue, I have found that almost without fail when a no start failure is in direct correlation to temperature that it is electrical in one way or another. Ignition switches on this body style vehicle are NOTORIOUS for failure causing everything from no starts to radio going off with wiper engagement. Please understand that there are so many issues that can cause your condition. Other known failures: Ignition modules, Coil packs, Fuel pump relay, injector harnesses, etc.... A lot of known issues. I suggest that you take this one to a professional and spend the money to have it diagnosed. Try to do it when you know the problem will occur. IE above 75 degrees. If it tends to start after a few tries then this may complicate matters for the technician, so be prepared for at least a couple of days without the vehicle. I have invested a great many hours on just this sort of issue. The money you spend on diagnosis WILL save you money over just going in and replacing parts. Even if it a hundred or two. I have seen customers invest $500 to $1000 trying to avoid paying someone else to diagnose and repair their vehicle.I am a professional technician and I tinker with things around my house, but if dad's pacemaker has an issue then I know I need a professional to fix it. It is just more than I can handle.
Hope this is helpful
