I think for the most part, most states do not require a license for driving an electric scooter but you should check with the laws regarding this for your own state, as laws are different in each state. Although some states do not require a license, however if caught driving one under the influence you can still be charged with drinking and driving, DUI. That may be common sense to some but you wouldn't believe how many people try it and think they will get by with it, using the excuse that because their state doesn't require a license to drive one they shouldn't be able to charge them with a DUI.
