Watch some video clips on you tube or from expert village first on brake repair.then get a manual on your vehicle and read through the steps a few times.then gather the tools needs to remove your tire,the brake caliper (if you would have said shoes I would have said the drum) .usually then you can slide the pads out and hang the caliper up either with a coat hangar or a heavy string so not to damage the brake hose.then you can install the pads and replace everything in the opposite order.
