I recently looked it up in the owners manual and it's quite involved.
Remove right foot peg
remove muffler
lossen trailing arm clamp.
Remove axial nut and axial by sliding out od the trailing arm
remove spacer between trailing arm and brake cover
pull drive shaft off spline wheel hub
remove the wheel
This is the shorten procedure. A special tool is required to hold the shaft on the trailing arm side. Might be able to lossen with clamp on. This is in the owners manual.
