You should be able to,,you might have to change the motor mounts and the bell housing on the trans so it will bolt up the engine

You probable could but you will have a lot of expenses with this change. Your on bord computer is only for a v-6 the exhaust is different also.
Well ill be damned if you can't my son did it and all you have to do is make sure that it will bolt in and that the trans will fit
A friend did it but had to cut the chassis and manifolds. If it has a 4.3 the 305-350 will bolt on to the transmission. If it is fuel injected you may have to change the computer.carburated is easier way to go
