No judgment here, have done the same thing.
Sounds like you may have just waterlogged the ignition coil. If so, that's no big deal.
You don't say if the engine is trying to crank or is just clicking.
Let it dry out a bit and try to start it again. Sometimes moisture will cause it to not get a spark.
Hopefully you haven't drained the battery trying to crank it. If so, you will need to jump start it or use a battery charger.

You might just have a wet distributor or coil pack. If the motor turns over then it is not locked. Try pulling a single spark plug out and back on the wire, then lay it on the motor, have someone turn the motor and check to see if you have spark
