Unsnap steering cover housing and remove top part. Look under wheel and you will see 2 screws with a 6mm bolt head and a whole between them closer to the dash. Remove both screws and in the hole you will find a 3rd screw, remove it. The lower cover will now come away. Put a working key in the ignition and turn to ACC position. On the side of the cylinder in about the 3:30 position, about 2.5 inches back you will see a poke hole. Insert a pick or straight stiff wire into the hole and depress the retainer as you turn the key just a little further to the on position. The cylinder should release at that point and slide out the front of the housing.
You have to remove the steering wheel. And that takes a special tool kit. You can buy it but you will still have to go to a dealer to have the new key programed into the body control module
