On my '89 Astro the fuel pump was in the gas tank. Not much bigger than a roll of quarts. I replaced mine by myself to save money, it was relatively easy dropping the gas tank and removing the unit out thought he top of the tank. If your going to do this job yourself PLEASE be careful, it only takes ONE SPARK to change the order of your life as you have become to know it!
