First, drain radiator, take hoses off radiator and engine, the big hoses, remove the fan blade, remove fan shroud, loosen a/c pump, alt, power steering pump and remove belts. Remove heater hose from water pump, remove all belts and the little hoses going to the water pump, then remove the bottle holding the pump on. Clean the engine block of old gasket and install in reverse procedure. There may be a few more small things to do but this is the basic things. After done, fill radiator and run for a while to make sure antifreeze level if topped off. Good Luck. I would install a new thermostat also.
