I had a problem with my starter one time. My mechanic friend told me that when starters get old, the parts inside get corroded and won't turn. All they need is a tap to start it. So he showed me where the starter was, and until I could get it fixed (six months), I would just tap the starter with a wrench. Each tap allowed me to start my car about 5 times before I had to tap it again.

I would look online or have someone show you where your starter is. Try this. If this doesn't work, it is either your battery (or connections) or your alternator.
