In front of the battery is a black box. Look on the sides of the box and you will see I think three metal clips holding the top part of the box to the bottom. Unsnap those clips and lift up on it. There is a hose and a tube running from the top of that box over to the intake. When you lift up on the box, you will pull part of the tube out of a socket. After this, push the lid back to expose the filter. Take out the old one and replace it with the new one. Put everything back in reverse and use a screwdriver to put the clips back into place..
