Everytime I Try To Put Gas In My Car The Nozzle Clicks Off As Though The Tank Was Full. Gas Backs To The Fill Tube Just Before It Clicks Off. Can Only Put In Few Cents At A Time. Any Ideas?

The sensor that shuts off the pump is probably being tripped by the turbulence in the fill tube.  If you insert the nozzle not quite so far in, and squeeze the trigger only part, way, you may see a better result.

If a mechanic wants to modify something in the car because of this, find another mechanic!  Think about this:  The sensor that shuts off the pump is part of the pump mechanism, not your car!

It is the leveler inside the gas tank you need a new one. Any mechanic will be able to replace it.

You have the gas nozzle too far down the tank. It's hitting the sensor that tells you the gas tank is full. You can pull back on the nozzle a bit.

Try an not put the nozzle all the way in or try turning it up side down when filling it up
