The truck will start with it in gear if the clutch pedal is on the floor. If the clutch is not working then you need to replace the slave cylinder and or the little rod that hooks to the clutch pedal. The same thing happened to us and it's the rod that hooks to your firewall that pushes flood to you slave cylinder. But if the clutch pedal is on the floor. The sensor is being pushed.
