My Automatic Mitsubishi Fto Doesn't Seem To Change Out Of Third Gear Even If I Put My Foot Down So It Starts And Stays In Third Gear And The Neutral Light Keeps Flashing, What's The Problem?

This is the gearboxes safe mode, chances are you have a faulty input or output sensor. It is possible to do a diagnostic check without any specialist equipment. Check any of the FTO forums for details

Suggestion:  try moving the lever from park to low gear several (3-4) times in a row.  as you do not indicate the age of the car...that is my only qwik fix suggestion.  if this does not work check the transmission fluid.  if it is full and clean I suggest you take it to a certified mechanic...good luck to you.♥
