Howdy:
You need to loosen the two bolts on the bottom of the glove box at the hinges. Use a flat screwdriver to squeeze into the gap that will be created at the top of the glove box to the dash. Next use a second flat screwdriver to push down on the plastic latch button to release it to the square metal latch plate attached to the dash.
