I am not sure but my dad did a experiment back when we had the gas shortage in the 70's. He put a 25% kerosene to 75% gas mixture in his datsun pick up and drove it back and forth to work. But that was when kerosene was cheaper than gas. Oh! And I should mention this was a carburated engine no fuel injection. It would probably foul the injectors.
I live in Nigeria where kerosene is cheaper than petrol and I use pure kerosene instead of petrol /oil in my 2 stroke generator and motorbike and it does seem to produce more power. Apart from being very very hard to start on cold mornings I noticed no other side effects, after long period of running the spark plugs were fine with just a dry light brown deposit.
You can run on about 66% PETROL TO KEROSINE BUT RUN THE RISK OF PRE IGNITION
AT HIGHER RATIOS.The Massie Fergusson tractors ran on parrafin after heating up on petrol
but they had a spacer with the cylinder head gasket to lower th comp ratio. To make this possible.
As far as I know they used a Standard Vanguard engine of about 2 litres.
To run a diesel on kerosine you need to add some lubricant for the sake of your injection equipment. At the suez crises when petrol was rationed some Glasgow taxis ran on paraffin but added lub oil to thier tanks. My mate ran his 2 stroke motorcycle on paraffin quite ok but 2 strokes have a much lower comp ratio.

If kero is no good for petrol engines , why do,s NURLON use it in their LEAD SUBSTITUTE VALVE SAVER for pre 85 cars using unleaded fuel ?
Unless your car, (and I doubt it), was manufactured to run on kerosene, since it is mostly composed of oil, I would suspect that your car would not run at all.
