Many different trucking companies will pay for CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) training and you can find them by using internet search engines to look for trainee/apprentice truck driver jobs or by contacting local trucking companies to see if they can advise you.  The actual requirements for a CDL vary slightly from state to state so start your search for companies which operate in the state you want to live and work in.

A CDL entitles you to work as a truck driver operating large vehicles, typically those with a
gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of over 26,000 lb.  Getting your CDL can be quite expensive and so a number of companies will pay for your training but, as you may expect, there are conditions attached to this.

Usually the company will expect you to agree to work for them for a certain period of time after the training and often they may put conditions on how much time you are allowed before you must pass your test.  Make sure you read and understand the terms and conditions of any training contract you agree to otherwise you may find yourself having to repay the trucking company hundreds of dollars.

In addition to agreeing to the company’s terms, you must meet all the other requirements necessary to apply for a CDL in your state which includes the somewhat obvious requirement of having a regular driver’s license.  Depending on the state, you may also need to be free of certain health or medical conditions and you may be required to take a drug test.

CDL driver jobs are pretty easy to come by once you have your training, but I understand your concern. There are many companies that will pay for your  CDL training if you
agree to drive for them after you pass the knowledge and skill tests. So before you agree to work for any company, make sure that they offer the best compensation and benefits...and have a good reputation of treating their employees right. You can usually find this information on online trucker forums. Truckers look out for each other. And there are tons of women truck drivers; no worries.
