I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan Sport with a broken off driver side mirror which has power no heat,the question is how do I get to the plug to replace it, where should I start to look so I don't waste time.

You should be able to take the door panel off and there should be an access hole right behind the mirror. There should be three nuts.
