I've had this problem as well. To get inside the truck you have to go through the back hatch. Remove the licence plate light/ hatch button on top using the torx screws. Once this is done you'll see a thin piece of metal that will need to be bent back slightly to gain access to the black realease cable for the hatch. Pull that cable and it will release the hatch.
