Yes. It controls the electric fuel pump. The relay hardly ever goes out, it is almost always the electric fuel pump itself that goes bad. The pump is in the fuel tank and needs to be professionally installed unless you are really mechanically inclined. I am a retired garage owner and have found many pumps bad and no relays bad.
