The explorer has two bolts on the transmission pan.the bolt closest to the passenger side of the pan is higher than the bolt in yhe center of the pan.remove this bolt if fluid starts to pour out then it is full if not you need to add fluid.the part store sells a pump that is used to fill new fluid.
