How Can You Tell When The Spark Plugs Go Bad?

The only way to really tell is to take them out and look at them.

It might help if you had a new plug to compare it to.

The old plugs electrodes should not appear worn, should not be wet or oily.

You can also check and compare the gap, if plugs are not worn but the gap is off a little it can be adjusted.
