The hood hinges are on the front end of the hood. It flips open from the rear. Pull the hood release mounted on the left side kick panel, below the dash. Grab the hood near the windshield and pull up and forward to the front of the vehicle. The hood should stay up in a verticle position. Watch the hood! Worn piston support for the hood could allow it to close without warning! To close the hood, lower it back down to the rear. Push the front edge of the hood rearward and downward until the latch catches.
