How Do I Change The Thermostat Housing On My BMW 528I?

The radiator dosnt need to be removed and the shroud is a single piece unit.  First disconect the cooling reserve on the left of the radiator, second there should be two clamps at the top of the radiator holding it in place which need to be removed to add a little movement to the radiator, third there is a hose that slides into the shroud at the bottom of the shroud which comes from the reserve, remove the hose from both sides of the housing and push up and out of way,  last but not least remove the shroud; its a tight squeeze but it will slide out.
