For this vehicle, you're going to need the use of a hoist to be able to access the Ac Port. A Lincoln Ls requires a strong and capable vehicle lift so that you are able to access the low side service port on the car. The precise location of the port in question is right next to the compressor, which can be found on the lower left side of the front of the engine.

In order to be able to access and use the port, you're going to have to remove some things. You will see some fasteners on the car that attach the lower front splash shield. Without losing them you need to detach these fasteners, which will give you plenty of room to be able to access the lower side port. Once you've finished with the port then make sure that you reattach the fasteners properly so that everything remains stable and in its place.

  • Using A/C Gauges
A huge amount of knowledge and expertise is required if you're working on cars and dealing with A/C issues. If you are currently having A/C trouble in your car and you want access to the lower side part because of this reason then you'll need to use an A/C gauge to be able to find out if there is too little or too much pressure running throughout the A/C system.

This is a maintenance procedure that is usually performed by a mechanic, but if you know what you're doing then you could do it yourself. Do remember that if you have limited experience then it's always better to seek the help of a professional who will not do any damage to your car.
