I can tell you on the 2001, it's passenger side, back almost under wipers, on AC hose and pointing straight up. Hopefully it's close to the same for your year. The high pressure port is same side, also on a hose, and much closer to the front, (and easy to access). Not sure why they made the low pressure one harder to get at.
