If you have a blown head gasket, you will have water in your crankcase.
Pull your oil dipstick out and see if there is water mixed with your oil.
If there is not, then your head gasket is probably not compromised.
If your head gasket is in fact, leaking slightly, there is a very good product called; (Blue Devil). I have witnessed this product work, time and time again to solve a head gasket problem.
The reservoir is a coolant recovery system, therefore, the coolant is supposed to run into the reservoir.
