Are you sure the play is in the rear of the gearbox & not in the universal joints on the propshaft, if the play is in the gearbox then I suspect the transmission will require a full strip & rebuild as the bush & seal will not be the only components worn or nearly at the end of their serviceable life & it would make sense to replace all suspect components at the same time as it usually works out cheaper in the long run to do the job right the first time round.
It is well worth contacting a qualified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before you spend any money.
