this is my emergency pump I use on lincoln limousines mostly but any ford would work.
I am not a good video maker so youll need to pause the video to read it.

I would say NO!
BUT you can put fresh gas in on top of the old gas and change the temperature, and this should very temporarily correct the problem! This will confirm it is bad 90% of the time!

It would depend on the fuel system requirement of you auto. If it's and old 70' or 80 mod. Auto your system requirements could run on 3 to 7 lbs. Fuel pressure. However, later mod. Autos (fuel inj.) require much more (30 to 50) lbsl/sq. In. Externally mounted fuel delivery/pump probably would not feasible since these pump don't usually have the capacity. Also (in tank)pumps are push pumps and externally mounted pumps are pull pumps
