To any constant 12 volt source in your car, as long as it is not switched- preferably to fuse box but I have also wired them to constant on cigarette lighter sockets. The memory wire pulls very little current so amperage shouldn't be w problem. The stereo needs a constant source of power even while the car is off to retain the settings, presets, clock, etc
