In my 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan ES AWD, the cabin air filter is located in the firewall directly behind the assembly that holds the wiper mechanism and motor. It is not an easy to service item in that you have to remove the wipers, the cowl cover and the wiper assembly "tub" in order to access the filter.
A bigger problem is where does one find replacement filters. The 1997 service manual does not even carry a description of the part and the Dodge dealer parts man and technician thought that I was crazy until I actually showed them the filter sitting in the firewall. Does anyone have a better answer?
