Yes your engine do indeed have a TIMING BELT .First you jack the engine ,then remove the right(passenger side) engine mount.Remove the a/c pump and bracket.Remove serpentine belt BEFORE taking of ac parts.remove p/s pump ,then the crank pully Make shure you have the right timing markes'This is a good time to check your water pump for leaks or loosenes.                  THE 3.3L IS THE ONE WITH A CHAIN

The 3.0 and the 3.3 are both OHV motors which generally speaking is a chain driven motor (not in all cases) BTW if you all ready are looking at the car the best way to determine this answer (without tearing the car apart) is to look at hte top of the motor if their is a plastic cover to the non transmission side of the vehicle its a belt if its steel or aluminium its a chain...

Your engine has a timing chain which does not need periodic replacement.

Yeah i agree with robot the daimler 3.0 is a chain timed motor.

Wrong. This particular engine has a timing belt. Mine broke which is why i know this to be true. Change about every 60 thousand miles is recommended.
