I Have A Honda Cb160 How Do I Tell What Year It Is By The Vin Only 11 Didgits Long?

I have a 1966 cb160 and when I spoke to Honda they said 1965-1969 vin numbers are just production line numbers.He also stated that whenever the bike was sold is what year it is.
