yes ,I wear my seat belt all the time and also ask my passengers to buckle up.because traffic accidents happen everyday and no one knows when is the next, for our safety,we have to wear our seat belt .maybe some people think that sometimes it is stupid to wear the belt and some people are too lazy to wear it.however, if you don’t wear it ,the safe airbag will not open ,which could lead to life loss in an accident.so for your and your family, wear the seat belt and keep it a habit.

I wear my seatbelt 100% of the time as do my passengers. If you've ever seen what a human face looks like when it smacks a windshield at 40 MPH, you wouldn't need any more incentive than that to buckle up.

No, I don't. My car's uninsured, and at this point my life would be so over if I wrecked it that I'd just as soon go down with the ship. Only time I even sort of think about it is during really bad weather...which, ironically, means I'm driving much more carefully & unlikely to have an accident.

I do not insist passengers do or do not. Many do. Some don't.

Should I? That's a judgment call, and not what the question asked.

Do I wear a seat belt? Well, sometimes, but there are times I just choose not to. I quite like the sense of freedom with going unrestrained. Is there a risk attached? Well, yes, but I'm cool with that. Life is full of risks and I'm willing to take a chance sometimes. Sometimes it may be safer in an accident to be unbelted anyway. I would never force my passengers to buckle up - if they want to, fine, but they might choose not to, especially if I'm not wearing my seat belt. All adult passengers should be free to make their own choice.

Thanks for answering my question. I do agree life has risk, but going through the wind shield is not one i want to take. It depends on where you live if you have the choice to buckle up or not. That also means your passengers & childrens too. Some laws take the choice away. Be safe.

Yes! I definitely wear my my belt. No questions asked! I never did until I was a firefighter/EMTI and saw many accidents where people would have lived had they been restrained. Yes, it can be annoying, but when it saves your life its well worth the annoyance. Please buckle up everyone! I can't tell you how many times I've seen it save lives!

Do I wear my seat belt? NO! I never wear it. Do you bloody realise that wearing your seat belt is for nerds, I don't drive now; but when I do drive I will cut the seatbelts out. So any nerd that comes in my car can not wear a stupid nerdy seat belt. So then they can turn gangster and not wear it. You do not have to wear it, I can't stress it any more than that. Thanks for Reading!

Where i live we don't have a choice. The signs on the highways say, click it or ticket. ( i'm in the usa) if we cut out our seat belts and a policeman saw it we would have a major problem.

I agree with Guest's comment. I never wear my seatbelt either, and I'm definitely the last one to enforce the "rule" in my car... Mine are permanently buckled behind the front seats anyway, out of the way. Freedom of movement definitely provides for a much more cool ride. I'm in the market for a 60's car which didn't even come with them. Cars in those days had much more guts than today's too. And the vast majority of those who bought those cars are still here today. Sorry seatbelt, you lose
