I don't know much about cars but I did replace my camshaft synchronize. It took me 1 1/2 hours to find it.
I would describe it as being in the middle right of the engine. Can't really see it without moving some things around, I took out the air filter thing and I made it easier to see from the side. The camshaft goes in a hole in to the engine so its pretty low and in the middle part of the engine, I also had to move all the wiring to the side.
