I replaced the battery in my 2005 aveo and now the radio won't even turn on. Suggestions?

Many new cars have codes thats written in the owners manual. Ck that and ck your fuses

Yeah, thanks for the reply but I did find some codes on line that I tried punching in but it didn't work. The dealership said to bring it in and they could try a code...for 80 dollars but it may not work. I can get an after market radio installed for under $200.00 and a better one at that. It is not right that you should have to pay for a radio code in a car you bought brand new. Thanks tho.

They usually right them in the owners manual but some dont your right a better radio for 200bux

I would complain to the dealership u bought it at and chevy they do not like to lose customers

Check the fuse for the radio.

Thanks Angela, but the fuse is the first thing I checked. Fuse looked good but I replaced it anyway, but it didn't work. I also tried several codes I found on line, but nothing. The dealership where I bought the car wanted 80 dollars to put in a code and said if it didn't work, I still owed.. I can get a better radio installed for under $200.00 so I am going that route. It blows my mind that they want to charge you for a code on a car you bought brand new. Thanks tho.
