I live for the ride. I choose automatic because I like to drive down the road and just enjoy the ride and my surroundings. To add to the smoothness, I'd prefer a CVT automatic transmission. Good luck to you.

Eh, for me a Mini Cooper just isn't a Mini Cooper without a clutch.

I've never driven a Mini Cooper. I've driven dozens of brands but never them. Are they nice vehicles?

Oh man. you're missing out. Go to a dealer and pretend you're buying one so they will let you test drive it. Haha.

It's probably one of the most unique driving experience next to my Tesla but more FUN. Especially along curvy roads with lots of sharp turns. Some people say it's like driving a go-kart.

I've had both over the years and while an automatic is nice and smooth, I prefer a manual transmission. Also, they're easier to repair when there's a problem.

It depends on what I'm driving. My car and my truck have auto. Any sports cars that I've owned were manual and I preferred it that way.

Only my Mini has manual but I love it to death.

My other daily runs on an electric motor and is one speed which is in another world of its own.

I've just gotten lazy in my older age and prefer an auto. I had many cars that were manual and tons of fun to drive, except in traffic when I would get the "shaking foot" syndrome on my clutch foot.

Well to me something like a sports car needs a manual but it all depends on the person, if you just drive to get from point a to point b an automatic in better, if you just like cruising and enjoying the scenery also an automatic but if you want speed and control a manual is right, only a manual can give you the 100% driving experience.
