Sounds to me like you need a transmission service by a Certified transmission Tech. Most of the time this will take care of most monor problems.
I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 4wd that will not take off in D but will in 2nd. Then once it gets above 20mph, you can put it in D & its ok. What would cause this, it literally happened overnight?
