May need to get a good mechanic or a transmission shop to look at it. As for the dash warning lights, growing up in the 60 and 70s with the Muscle cars we soon learned why these dash lights were called "idiot lights" as they can burn out and short out or whatever and while youre waiting for a light to come on, you burn up your transmission or engine so please don't put a whole lot of trust into these lights at all.
