Most Ford products have the fuel shut off in the trunk. It should be on one side or the other in the trim carpet. Some Ford products have the shut off switch in the right side kick panel by the front floor. This shut off should only be activated by a crash or rolling the vehicle up on the side or over. I suppose it could be activated by a tow truck tilting the car.
