Can i use 225 60 17 tire instead of 225 55 17?

Yes in many cases and for sure on the rear. A 60 series tire is only a little wider than a 55 series tire. The only problem is that on some cars that call for 55 series tires don't have the clearence inside the fender well to clear the fender well when the tires on the front of the car are turned all the way in one direction or another. In a worst case scenerio the tires on the front might rub the wheel well a little those few time that the wheels are turned to the extreme right or left. On many cars there is enough clearance that you can put a slightly wider tire and not rub.

Yes, but must replace all the 4-tyres since there is a big difference in load index and overall diameter in 2-types of tyre size. 60 is normally for sport car type, while the 55 is more on passenger car type. See its complete specifications for comparison details; 225 60R17 vs 225 55R17.
