I just changed my drive belt on my SLT 1550 Cub, and you must remove the mower deck, then climb under tractor & remove bolt that holds the mower engagement pulley & the centrifugal clutch (you need to use something to hold the shaft still to do this. Once you do this, you can then lower the drive belt pulley & remove the belt. This takes a bit of work, & make sure you are careful to put all parts back the way they came out, but you can do this yourself and save about $200 VS dealer doing work.
