Loosen up the plastic moldings around the gas tank then unplug the fuel line going to the carb and pull the tank off. Now you can unhook the throttle line and the clamps on the rubber hoses that go to the air filter and the intake port on the engine and take those rubber hoses out of the way. Now you can take the carb out to the side a little so you can get at the plastic nut holding in the choke cable(be careful not to break it like I just did on mine)
